Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

Printer: Canon ImageRunner 2020 Operating System: SUSE Enterprise Desktop(SLED) 11

Canon ImageRunner 2020 drivers ships/comes with SLED11.

After Configuring Canon ImageRunner 2020 network printer on my SLED11 box, when I send a document for printing the "Data Processing" LED on printer just blinks for a sec and then goes down/off... and no printing occurs. Under normal circumstances(i.e sending printing jobs from Windows XP) this LED continues to glow till the document is printed.

I also downloaded the PPD file for this printer and provided while adding the printer on my SLED11 box, but it also did not produce any result.

By default the driver(PPD file) for this printer is not available on SLED 10 SP3 so I provided the PPD file for this printer while adding the printer but it also did not produce any result.

I selected the paper size to A4 and default printer tray to "Auto" before sending the document to print. I tried multiple paper sizes and trays to get any kind of result but I didn't get any result

Please help

Why didn't you go out to Google, and look for the correct driver??
http://www.usa.canon.com/opd/control...8&modelid=9013

Links you to:
http://canon.codehost.com/

which work fine for all of the ImageRunner's I've tried it on.
