printer

Hello all,
I am running SuSE 7.3. My printer has been reconized by linux, but it will not print. When I try to print a test page, nothing happens. Anyone know where to look now? Thanks for any help.

Is it switched on?

Is it listed in YaST2?
What's your printer?
What are you trying to print from?

The printer is listed. It is a HP Deskjet 680c. There are two drivers listed, but neither one seems to work. I use koffice, and it will not print anything from there either.

SuSE lists these drivers for your printer.
I use the same version of SuSE that you do but I use a laser printer so I havent tried what you're doing.
HP printers seems to have more support with Linux than most inkjet printers,so I wouldnt give up.Maybe try HP's web site to see what kind of Linux support they have.
