My office has a new printer and the techie guy gave me the linux drivers for it but i don't know where to put them? I have installed Cups already but it needs the linux drivers to be in the right place.
So each version of linux, each distro, stores drivers in completely different places and the place also changes according to which printer too?? Is there not some centralised folder such as Windows
Distribution: PCLinuxOS2023 Fedora38 + 50+ other Linux OS, for test only.

The command : 'cat /etc/issue' will tell the version of Ubuntu.
Please specify.
And which printer ? ? ( You may already have a usable driver.)
Printer drivers come in many different packages / file types.
We will also need the full file name of the mentioned drivers,
and preferably also a link to the file(s) / package.
..
You are not answering any of the questions asked of you in the previous posts to this thread, please scroll up and read, then answer them, otherwise nobody can help you.
In the question i clearly stated that I already have got the drivers. Please can people trying to help with this please please notice the question i actually ask rather than assuming this question is about something else. I HAVE GOT THE DRIVERS ALREADY!!
So, i don't need to search for drivers or identify the printer or find a website with a list of printers or anything like that. Admittedly usually people DO need to look up and hunt for drivers and that is usually the most tricky part of similar questions but in this particular question i already have the drivers!
At the moment i have the linux drivers for various different families of linux altogether on 1 usb-stick. This is unusual i admit that but i feel i have been VERY clear on this point, repeatedly and yet still get asked for irrelevant detail such as which printer the room downstairs has.

Yes, i do already have the drivers
How can i give you a link to the packages i have on usb-stick?? Do you want a full list of ALL the packages i have on this usb-stick for the printer? There are quite a few
You can usually specify the driver when installing the printer through CUPS or through the add printer dialog in your GUI.
I had already stated that Cups didn't offer me the drivers and presumably most people could work out that implies that Cups didn't have the particular printer listed. However i do have the drivers for the specific printer
