Print wirelesly from HP Photosmart 6520 Kubuntu 12.10

One similar computer prints with USB, second one doesn't see the printer. Printer is configured for wireless from Internet and a get a sample every week. There is no signal connection on the back of printer other than USB.

"Printer is configured for wireless from Internet and a get a sample every week."

Not sure what that means, but printing wirelessly with HP can be done with the HPLIP GUI.

Install that and go to Device Discovery Network/Ethernet/Wireless network.

I've had more luck setting the printer a static IP address and using the manual discovery option. (HP Deskjet 3050 wireless.)

Not sure if this is similar to OP's situation. My HP 3522 prints wirelessly without any problems, but CUPS can't seem to find it. The printer has a static address on my LAN (192.168.1.42). To enable one of my computers to see it I go to localhost:631 in my browser, then Add Printer -> Other Network Printers -> AppSocket/HP JetDirect and enter the connection as socket://192.168.1.42:9100
