Is something happening with the primax_scan project?
I've got a Primax Colorado Direct 9600 that I want to get working
under Linux. I've tried pxscan, and the driver works, a bit.
The colours aren't as nice as they should be (a blue-white
gradient becomes just white) and sometimes the scanner tries
to scan more than is physically possible, it's stuck in the end
and goes on humming so I have to remove its power connector
and put it in again.

Well, I'd want a driver that works a bit better, and is possible to
integrate with Gimp or something.
