Question primary button in linux for two mice?

I am using Linux Ubuntu 19.04

Primary button can be set to be left button or right button on your mouse.

For mice used with the right hand the left button is usually set as primary.
For mice used with the left hand the right button is usually set as primary.

I am using two mice, one for each hand. How can I configure the mouse buttons?

Red face

how do I make these settings persistent after reboot?

I added the setting

Code:
xinput set-button-map 11 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
to a file `~/.xsessionrc`. I created this file it did not exist before. However, it doesn't work as intended.
