Powervr driver problem
 

Just a quick question...

I am running Suse linux 8.1 with a Videologic Vivid graphics card. At the moment I am using framebuffer to run it, but I would like to use the Powervr drivers.

However when i downloaded the relevant driver (from http://www.powervr.com/Downloads.asp), an error came up saying that it requires k_deflt. I have a duron processor, and so I think that this has been replaced by k_athlon. If this is true does it mean that I can install the drivers without downloading k_deflt and 'risk system inconsistencies'?

Dunno, but maybe try the athlon rpm's?
