Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

power management signal

Hello

It is possible to blank the monitor after a timeout.

Is there anyway to trap this signal and use it for something else. What I would like to do is be able to power down other equipment in my home studio when I'm no longer in front of the computer via a simple script to hardware relay.

Yes, at least if you're using Xorg.
Try one of the three programs mentioned here: https://notabug.org/ohnonot/termss#prerequisites
