Hi guys I have an old Polaroid ION 230 digital camera/webcam that I'd like to use as a webcam. It has a specific webcam mode that the camera must be switched to for it to act as a webcam. When switched in normal camera mode is automounted and nautilus pops up with a windows showing the device contents.
According to this site
http://www.qbik.ch/usb/devices/showdev.php?id=2641
the webcam functionality is supported in linux.
It appears the chipset this camera uses is supported

I installed camstream via the yumm gui frontend but it just doesn't show up in the device list (I just searched for 'webcam' in the gui yumm thing). I'm guessing I need to acquire the driver and some how intergrate it into my existing system; I'm just not quite sure where to start.
Running on Fedora Core 5
