plugging USB device makes RH4 to reboot

Hi ,

I have to deal with next situation .DL 360 G4 server with RH4.4 . OS may reboot itself whenever an USB stick or USB hard disk is being plugged into the server's USB slot.

I suspect that there is a some conflict id scsi devises IDs between hard disk and usb devise . Or some hotplug configuration file should be set up .

Any ideas ?
Thanks . Vlad .

I have a PC on my desktop that does that in Windows if I plug ANYTHING into the USB ports on the front of the PC.
If I plug into the USB Ports on the back of the PC I don't have a problem.

I always thought it was a hardware issue in some fashion. Plug in device, the system sends a reset, and BOOM reboot.
