and I do it but when I write this command "modprobe sk98lin"

my consol write this message " FATAL: Error inserting sk98lin (/lib/modules/2.6.8.1-10mdksmp/kernel/drivers/net/sk98lin/sk98lin.ko.gz): No such device"

Please copy/paste the output of lspci. What is the make/model of your laptop? You might also want to try the skge driver.
