please help me: iSight under Linux
hi all

I use Fedora Core 1 and wanna bring iSight via IEEE1394 to work under Linux.

As application I use gnome-meeting, but cant see my picture in this :-(
my PCMCIA FireWire Card: Texas Instruments|TSB43AA22 IEEE-1394 Controller (PHY/Link Integrated) driver: ohci1394

ohci1394 28776 0 [video1394]
ieee1394 203940 0 [video1394 ohci1394]

this module makes me Dev files:
# pwd
# ls
0 1 2 3

then I made sym links and hope that it works with gnome-meeting:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 16 Jan 23 12:45 /dev/video0 -> /dev/video1394/0

are there any userspace tools to organise firewire devices? like lsusb, ...

hope you share your know how with me

no luck either
I'm hoping someone will see this and then fill us in on how they got their iSight working in linux. I know it can be done, I've found numerous websites about this, but nobody explains how they got it working. I'm stuck trying to install motion with dependencies the I can not find anywhere on the web. Help!!!

Fedora Core 3
