Question Please help me!

I just installed SuSe Linux 9.0 and am fairly new to linux. I have an external firewire 120gb hard drive that shows with Suse that it's properly installed but I have no idea how to access the drive with data I saved from Win XP. I've tried going to the mount point but have no luck accessing the data. Also, same problem with a WD 250gb hard drive which is brand new! I don't know where to go to find these drives. Help me somebody - it's driving me crazy.

try "fdisk -l" ,this should give you a list of all partitions and harddrives that could be accesible from linux. then you have to mount them. if you don't know hoe tell me and i'll write you.
are that winXp partitions ntfs? if yes you'll need ntfs support.
