Plantronics .Audio 90

I'm just curious if anyone is using the Plantronics .Audio 90 with Linux. I would assume they work fine because they are the regular audio jack, and not a crazy usb port.
If you do use this headset, does the volume scroll on the wire work? Does the mute button on the wire work? Does the mic work?
If I get a set I'll be using it with Alsa and onboard Via AC'97 audio output. Has anyone else that uses this setup found any problems with this headset? I can't seem to find anything about this combo of OS and headset, etc, on the weeb.
