PixelView PlayTV Pro installation problem

I have PixelView PlayTV Pro TV card. I also have Mandrake 10.1 Community Edition.
When I choose automatic choice of card model and tuner card in Control Center
during scanning I get no stations in XawTV. When I connected analog video recorder to
Composite channel there is some vision but it's hashed in black and white. Moreover
it looks as though a few smaller pictures were set one next to the other and displayed
I tried to change TV system from PAL to PAL-M and PAL-N but either there is no difference
or picture is still. With Secam I get similar vision but colorful. But colors are wrong and I am sure I don't have Secam. I also tried in Control Center to change Models of card and tuner
without effect. I underline that there is some signal while waching from video recorder so
card is connected and works. What's wrong?. Once changed card model in some config file
by hand and it worked well. But I forgot how to do it.
