Pioneer DVR-107
 

Hi,

I've at last scraped together enough cash to get a new pc, and i'm trying to make damn sure all the hardware is supported by Suse 9.0, so i can get well away from M$.

Everything is going ok, but i have one problem.

I want to use a Pioneer DVR-107 DVD/CD burner, but it's not in Suse's support database. The only link i can find to anything close is a problem with the DVR-103 mistaking DVD's for Audio CD's under Linux. dvr103 problem

Does anyone have any experience with this drive? Will it work correctly with Suse 9.0, or do i need to look around for an alternative?

Any suggestions welcome.
