Pioneer 305S DVD-ROM (SCSI)
Hi,
Kernel 2.4.20 / Debian Linux Unstable (latest packages, but self-build kernel with built-in SCSI host driver 'aic7xxx')
I just got a Pioneer 305S in my Linux box. When I startup I got these messages around the SCSI host initialization:
ahc_pci:2:5:0: Host Adapter Bios disabled. Using default SCSI device parameters
scsi0 : Adaptec AIC7XXX EISA/VLB/PCI SCSI HBA DRIVER, Rev 6.2.8

The parity error is new since I have connected the DVD ROM in my small SCSI tower and setup the ID to 7.
Any ideas? Or if you need more info, let me also know it! :-)
