Pinnacle PCTV Pro + kernel 2.6.2

Hi,

As you may figured out from the subject i have i pinnacle pctv pro that does not work. With kernel 2.6.1 the card tuner could not be recognized, the message i was getting was NOT MT2032.After i have patched the kernel to 2.6.2 the card is auto detected as card=39 , tuner=33 with MT2050,but when i run scantv no stations are found.I get an error message TV Freq (0.00) out of range (44-958).Does any one know anything ?.

P.S.

I tried both card=39 as it is autodetected and card=52 but nothing changes.

Motherboard

Hi,

No, my motherboard is an intel with 82845G chipset.I think that the problem might be with the tuner. It might be a little different with 2050 and maybe this is the problem.

I've heard that this card is working under SuSE 9.1, but this tuner must work too under the others Distributions???

The problem can too be by i2c. but im not sure.

PS. sorry for this poor English
