Exclamation pheonix bios cant find ide devices, booting ms dos from floppy =s


im running a gigabyte ga-8ie533 mother board, i was in the middle of an important project when my screen just went blank, i hit the reset button to be greeted with

 Detecting IDE Devices
Primary Master: NONE
Primary Slave: NONE
Secondary Master: NONE
Secondary Slave: NONE
i have two HDD's and a Dvd drive, could anyone
1. tell me where to get a bios image, or better yet, send their own to Person_1873@hotmail.com
and
2. how to make a bootable bios flash floppy

Well, googled http://www.gigabyte.com.tw/Support/M...ProductID=1393. Whenever I've done a BIOS upgrade, the download contained instructions and/or was an zip that created an exe.

thanks larkl, i figured out why my IDE bus failed, i overclocked my system past the point at which my IDE bus could handle and fried it, i've no mannaged to access HDD's and CD's using a SCSI card and have now (with alot of trouble) mannaged to install Debian Etch on it booting with no assistance
