Lightbulb Permanent Ethernet Address


Hi!

Can anyone tell me how to get the Permanent Ethernet Address of an NIC?

What do you mean by "Permanent Ethernet Address"? A static IP address, or a MAC address (note: MAC addresses can be changed too)?

Tried already this (if eth0 was the network card you wanted)?
