Penguin Computing

Hi, I am just wondering what everyone thinks of Penguin Computing as a hardware company for high end (I'm talking extremely high end 64 bit graphical workstation type thing here) Linux Workstations? Are they a good company for hardware, or are they like PegasusPPC in that they make crap hardware and don't honour their warranties? Just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on this.

well LQ.org runs on servers including a couple very kindly donated by Penguin, so i guess we're a touch biased!

I know I've heard nothing but good things about them, but I also heard nothing but good things about PegasusPPC so that's why I'm asking :P

A lot of articles that I have read about Penguin Computing, have given them positive reviews (I think there was one in a Linux Format issue a short while ago), so I believe they are a good company though I have never really bought anything from them myself.

Thx for your comments guys.

Anyways, what about warranties? I know they do on-sight serviceif you buy it and normal warranties if you don't. Anyone had to use a warranty with Penguin Computing?
