Hello frends,,

I have 16gb pen drive. I was use this pen drive in window and linux both. Today when copy was running on linux, suddenly power is off, after power is on, pen drive cannot mount or cannot format.

Can anybody give me solution for this?

Help would really appreciated.

Have you tried to plug this into a windows box? What results did you get there? And when you plug it in, does it do anything (for example, do you see the disk device 'show up' in /dev/?)

If you see the disk device, try running fdisk on it, and look at the partition table. Could be it got corrupted, and is now effectively blank. If you don't see it, it's possible that the stick got fried during the power surge....
