PCMICA - cardctl ident = no product available

I'm running fedora core2 on my laptop and I can not get the Linksys WPC11 v4 card to work. The laptop is setup dual boot w/XP and the card works in the windows OS.

When I do a cardctl ident it returns "no product info available" How do I get this machine to identify the pcmcia wan card?

cardctl status
Socket 0:
3.3V CardBus card
function 0: [ready]
Socket 1:
no card

cardctl ident
Socket 0:
no product info available
Socket 1:
no product info available
