PCMCIA WPC11 driver and pcmcia-cs

I am tring to install and configure a Linksys WPC11 wlan card.
I am running a Sony Vaio laptop (earlier model). I have SuSE version 7.3 installed on the laptop running 2.4.10-4GB.

The instructions seem pretty clear on how to build and configure the driver. However, the installation Configure script asks for the location of "pcmcia-cs source dir", the script offers the default location of /usr/src/pcmcia-cs-3.1.28 for the source directory which I do not have. However I do have a /usr/src/linux/drivers/pcmcia directory. If I use this as the loccation of the directory in question I receive the following error:

The pcmcia-cs source tree does not appear to be configured.
The wlan driver for pcmcia cannot be built without /bin/echo -e the pcmcia-cs source tree present and configured.

Configuration failed

Can somebody tell me what is going on here and/or more importantly how I can get this thing figured out and configured.

Thanks,

Marc

You need to install the source code for the pcmcia-cs package, its on the SuSe CD somewhere, or its easily downloadable. For some reason those prism drivers from www.linux-wlan.net are picky about having your pcmcia-cs source handy, even if you're building against kernel pcmcia (you're not, they're just archaic).
