Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

PCMCIA WLAN cards with External Antenna Connectors

I'm trying to find a WLAN card to suit my needs.

As looking around for pictures of one end or another has caused 21% of my hair to be pulled out; I pose the following question:

Do the:

Dell Truemobile 1150 (PCMCIA version) and/or

Proxim Classic Gold Card (8410-WD)

have a connector to use an external antenna????

(I've read that these both *work* with linux [I use mandrake], anybody care to refute that?)

Thank you very much.
