PCMCIA problem

Hello all,

I have just installed a PCI PCMCIA adaptor into my 2.6.9 debian system. The card is identified as:
#lspci
0000:01:06.0 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1225 (rev 01)
0000:01:06.1 CardBus bridge: Texas Instruments PCI1225 (rev 01)

after increasing the the include memory in /etc/pcmcia/config.opts to 0xee000000-0xeeffffff (I got this value from lspci -vv, one of the Memory behind bridge lines), inserting a PCMCIA card is correctly recognised and identfied in the syslog.

The problem is, regardless what card I try (i've got a NE2000 network card, a Vodaphone GSM card and an Audiovox GSM card) I always get the following error:

cardmgr[11466]: socket 0: <device, correctly identified>
cardmgr[11466]: get dev info on socket 0 failed: No such device
kernel: <driver for the card>: RequestIO: No more items

When I insert either of the GSM cards, I also get:
kernel: serial_cs: no usable port range found, giving up.

Does anyone have any suggestions or thought as to how to fix this?

Regards,

-Jeff Fern
