PCMCIA - No such Device

I have been struggling for the last several days trying to get the PCMCIA working on my Sony PCG-FX290k machine. I've tried the pci=biosirq and setting PNP to off - both with no luck. I've included quite a bit of detail below - and would appreciate any help.

Thanks.

I'm using Red Hat 9 - The PCMCIA was alos not detected under 8 but I never addressed the problem. Know I need the slots to work.
