PCLinuxOS and GE 730 Digital Camera
 

A friend of mine has just bought a GE 730 Digital Camera and is having some problems getting it to work with his linux box. He is running PCLinuxOS 2007, can anyone direct me to a suitable driver and/or work-around?

any camera?
 

Konquer has a optional module that adresses your camera as a hard drive.
The instructions that come with it give the url to use for the camera.
the camera must be switched on at the time but not in take-a-picture mode. The mode of the camera is important but it took me a while to figure that out.
If digicam cant find it on its SEARCH function, this will.
Have tried all my freinds cameras and read everyone of them. Love pclinux

Yeah, Konqueror handled it perfectly. It took a little fiddling to get it to read it, but I got to the pictures. Hopefully, my friend won't have any more problems with it. Thanks for the advice!
