Angry PCIe usb card not working in ubuntu 10.04


I have ubuntu 10.04 LTS. Kernal version 2.6.32.

I am trying to install 4port USB PCIe card. But card is not detecting. but card manufacturer says it is plug and play device. this card is working in fedora 11. but i need to install in ubuntu 10.04.

What brand is the PCIe card and what is the chipset it's using?

If you got another PCIe slot available try using that.

IOI Technology Corporation U2X4-PCIE1X01 Quad Channel USB 2.0 to PCI Express single lane Host Adapter.


I tried with Another Slot. Still It is not working. Chipset Moschip
