Having read the HOWTO for these little boogers, and read the man pages for every command I could find that this HOWTO contains, I still can't figure out how to make this work.
As of this post (from another computer, obviously) I can tell you I am using Slackware 9.1 and the the standard kernel that comes with that. I can't remember the exact version number.
I am using a 56k v.92 PCI Modem model: DX-M100 by DYNEX. I believe it is an intel chip.
Also, I came here first because most answers I get are usually here, but after this post I am checking with Dynex via thier website.
Output from lspci -vv and my exact kernal will be added tomorrow morning, after I get them off my Linux machine and copy it all down.
Hmm, had to get the source and got it compiling. Using Slackware 9.1 I get the message:
unknown distrobution, no install scripts loaded
and an install error 1
Being the curious individual I am, I tried looking through the install script, as the reame suggests, to try and find the error. Unfortunitely, that didn't help.
