PCI Modem not working


Installed Trust MD-1100 56K PCI MODEM

Gone through YAST to configure the Modem with my ISP/email...
Launch Firefox....Not a thing.
Firefox just says it cant find the website.

I've looked into it via LQ and http://www.linmodems.org/
As a newbie its scary stuff.
Anyway I just want it to work so I can get to the good stuff (apache2,MySQL,...).
Any ez help out there?

download the scanModem script, read the instructions to run it and check the output then see if it suggest a driver thats on that page
