PCI Card works in old RedHat7.3, but not in new Suse10.1

Hi,
i have a 4 port serial card, that works fine if i install an old RedHat7.3 (assigns /dev/ttyS4 to /dev/ttyS7)

with Suse10.1 it only sees 3 ports and only 2 are working...
same thing with FedoraCore5...

How can it be possible ?
Is there a way to change the driver, copy the configuration, perhaps copy some file from old RedHat to new Suse ?

C'mon.

You are kidding right?

If you aren't kidding your old RH7.3 kernel probably has the right driver while the newer kernel may have deprecated the driver.

You will need to do some kernel research and figure it out for yourself.
