PCI card modem configuration in redhat version 9

Iam using redhat linux 9 version. Iam using an inbuilt motoralla sm56 modem. i dont know how to configure it . In the PCI list i get my modem connected but there is no I/O port address in the detail. So help me to configure my PCI modem so that it is possible to connect to net.
