pci card

Hi

I'm intending to make a pci card from scratch (I don't know how yet). Anyway I want to know if it is possible to send signals to the pci card directly with some linux software?

I think you can do that with the "setpci" command. I've never used it though.

Good luck.

I *believe* you have to write a driver that will send information through the bus.

Please define what you mean by "making a PCI card from scratch". Are you talking about fabbing your own cards, or doing a one-off mod? -- J.W.

fabbing it

and then let linux take care of the rest. But I have to know if it is possible to send signals to lets say pin 30 of the pci slot when I press 30 and then return in a certain screen
