PC stopped printing


I am running Mint 19.3 on a Lenovo ThinkCentre. I do a fair amount of printing (editor). The other day the PC just stopped printing. I tested the printer on another computer and it is working fine (HP Laser Jet Pro M203dw). When I try to print the box that comes up says that the printer is "paused", whether the printer is connected or not. The Print Status box says "pending" the same way.
I have no idea what to look for.
