Partitioning
Hey guys, I'm in a bit of a pickle right now. I'm running linux SuSE 10.1 open source. Currently my motherboard is acting up a lot and I can't change my boot order and I can't see half the things in my computer in the BIOS, but that's not my problem right now. right now I'm trying to figure out a way to partition a drive in failsafe mode or not. Basically I have the hard drive hooked up on my 4th IDE slot and it won't load linux at all cuz it says there is different memory than it had when it last shut down. I don't remember the exact error it gives me and if you need it I can try to write it down. The last thing it gives me on the screen before it stops doing anything is it says, Device not ready for command. So I'm trying to get something to work in failsafe mode.. is that possible?

Read Raymonds "How to ask Smart Questions" and Tatham's "How to report bugs effectively" (GIYF). HTASQ explains why I'm curt.

That's "Raymond & Moen's". http://linuxmafia.com/faq/Essays/smart-questions.html
Hate to see anyone named "Rick" get short changed in the credits.
And very tactfully put.
