partition table, no Red Hat boot

I have XP and Red Hat 7.2 on my hard disk. Using partion magic, I resized my XP partition. When I tried to start up Red Hat, it gets to checking filesystems and it comes up with the error: "couldn't find matching filesystem: LABEL=/boot". XP still starts up. Please help, I'm pretty new at this, so any help will have to be explicit.
