What happened to cause this - most importantly, what did you change ???

If you enter "kernel (hd" and press tab, can you locate the kernel? For example, if the kernel is located on the first harddrive and first partition, "kernel (hd0,0)/boot/vmlinuz-version"

You can use auto-completion to reduce typing and discover the drives & partitions available. After entering a line starting with "kernel ", do the same for "initrd ". When that is done, enter the boot command. If your partition table isn't damaged, you may be able to boot. It looks like more than the boot strap portion of grub loaded (bytes 0-244) so your partition table may be OK. At least the entry for the root partition.
It would help a person understand your question if you used proper capitalization and used spaces between words.
