Partition died by 'power failure'

What happend? Something that just keeps happening every couple of weeks. My old box just dies (like power failure) in a second and only power off/on will bring live to it again. I'm sure it's a mainboard problem but I'm not going to invest in it anymore sice it will be replaced in a couple of months. So all I want is my partition back.
What's broken? Partition /dev/hda7 (XFS) won't mount. Trying to gives:

Code:
debian:/home/test# mount /dev/hda7
mount: /dev/hda7: can't read superblock
debian:/home/test# xfs_repair /dev/hda7
Phase 1 - find and verify superblock...
Phase 2 - using internal log
        - zero log...
xfs_repair: read failed: Input/output error
debian:/home/test#
I've backed up most of the important stuff, but is it possible to get this partition back to live?

Regards

This software has a partition recovery utility and a deleted file recovery utility. I have only used the deleted file recovery utility but you might want to try the partition recovery part.
