partioning a 250gb harddrive
i would like to partition a new 250gb harddrive,its a western digital.what i would like to do is have 2 systems installed on it with a seperate home partition for each.i will be using qparted.what i need to know is how exactly to do it.it will be 10gb root for each, about 512mb for swap for each and about 110gb home for each or close to it.the os will be simplymepis and maybe kanotix.i did it once and thought i had it done right,but i didnt.thnxs in advanced for the help.

they can share swap no problem, so give a gig
root should be 12 gb for expandability, and create a 1 gig boot partition
looks good

ok is the 1gb boot a primary? and is the root partition a primary or extended? and my home partition is that a primary or extended? and the swap? once i get these figured out i am good to go.
