Pardus 2009-Tecra A8-Mouse not recognized during installation-cannot install

Hey all,

I am trying to install Pardus 2009 on my Toshiba Tecra A8. I booted from the install cd,they have no live cd yet, and started up the installation. The bootup seemed to go fine. Pardus was not able to start system logging, but I dont think that is relevant to my problem. After a somewhat longish bootup, I got to the first installation screen. Pardus was asking me if I agree with their terms or something like that. However, I couldnt continue the installation because my mouse was not working. Since, the installation was a gui, I was unable to choose an option and unable to move forward in the installation. The Tecra A8 comes with a trackpad and a pointing ball mouse in in the middle of the keyboard. Neither worked. I was hoping that someone can help me out or point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Hal

Somewhat as an aside, did you happen to try the TAB key while in the GUI? Never know, it may work
