Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

parallel port connection between 2 PCs

Is there any way I can connect to another PC (running Linux) by using a parallel port cable?

Yes, but since you can get a decent 100MB ethernet card for less then $10 US or you have a really good reason like needing an ISA network adapter IMHO it isn't worth the effort. According to the documentation it does not work with windows (i.e. 95 but I assume it does not with anyting later too).
