This is a very old thread but I am resurrecting it as I also now have this same camera.
For the sake of anyone passing by, I can confirm that it works beautifully with firewire for dv capture under kino.
As for usb, in webcam mode, I cannot find a driver for this camera.
Anyone else using this model or even the gs400 which is very similar?
