Ovislink 8211 wireless pcmcia problems
I have the following reports from boot when I have my ovislink pcmcia wireless 8211 based board plugged into the laptop:
Dec 28 01:22:20 charon insmod: /lib/modules/2.4.22-10mdk/kernel/drivers/parport/parport_pc.o.gz: init_module: Device or resource busy
Dec 28 01:22:20 charon insmod: Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ parameters. You may find more information in syslog or the output from dmesg
Dec 28 01:22:20 charon modprobe: modprobe: insmod parport_lowlevel failed
Dec 28 01:22:20 charon kernel: lp: driver loaded but no devices found
instead of when it is unpluged
Dec 28 01:22:04 charon pcmcia: done.
so I have tried to turn off some unused ports in the bios but with no results.
How to configure theses parameters IRQ and IO before to have the driver OK ?
Any help welcome !
