os/setup question

when I rebuilt my amd 700 i placed a 6 gig maxtor as my primary drive and linked it to twoo 20 gigs ne as a secondary master and the other slaved to it.
I have ubuntu dapper drake on all thre and am wondering if I could place kubuntu on the secondary maste without causing my self a lot of problems and if so how i would go about that task.

Put it wherever you have free (as in unpartitioned) space.
If you need to shrink partition(s) to make room, you should be able to do that as part of the install. Should use the same installer as your current system I would imagine.
