Optimal Hardware...
I currently have a very bad graphics card, and I am considering getting a better one. After reading a bit, I have found the linux support/drivers are sketchy. What would be the best graphics card to get for linux? I prefer to have one from the major manufacturers (eg. Radeon, Voodoo, Matrox, GeForce, etc...)
And on a related note, what is the best laptop for linux? |
GeForce has good support, I think.

What about laptops?

I have an old pentium 75 with an 800 MB hard drive I just got given to me. When I have time, I will install something on it, then maybe I will know something about laptops.
All I can suggest is checking the hardware compatability lists. |
