Open SUSE 12.1 sound problem

I am running lately opanSUSE 12.1 64 bits version and I have a problem. Sound does not work though:
- it works when tested from YAST, I have the right flash plugin installed in my Firefox browser (v 8.0),
- it works like a charm on XP, my PC is dual boot.
- It worked in all previous OpenSUSE version, at least since 11.1 if not before.

Is it just sound in Firefox that doesn't work through flash? What if you open a music player and play an MP3? Seems like that would work if you get sound through Yast.

Problem solved: Go to YAST enter user/group management and ensure your user is in the Audio group. Next, reboot for the change to take effect. It's that simple!! Sad to say, but maybe I did not read release properly, or the openSUSE guys forgot to draw attention upon this one.
It's fully explained in openSUSE 12.1 forum.
