Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

only UDMA/33 with SATA disc?

Hi,

when I boot up, it is recognized, that my SATA disc can work with UDMA/100, but a few lines later I get the following messages:

ATA2(0): applying bridge limits
ATA2: dev0 configured for UDMA/33
ATA2: dev1 configures for UDMA/33

(The other device supports UDMA/133 and is also a SATA device). I can hardly believe, that my bridge supports only UDMA/33, because my Windows XP boots up in 15 to 30 sec. Does somebody know, what could be the error?
