LinuxQuestions.org - Once again DVD playback problems

Hi there,

I know there are a lot of threads on the net about slow dvd drives.
However, after reading dozens of them it seemed all problems were solved by enabling DMA on the drive.... Well doesn't work for me though I hope any of you can help me.

These are my specs:

AMD Athlon XP 2700+
1024 MB RAM
GeForce FX5200 (running the corporate nvidia drivers)

hdc: LITE-ON DVDRW LDW-851S, ATAPI CD/DVD-ROM drive
