Onboard VideoCards
Hi,
I saw an MSI board with Envidia, G-Force, 64 Megs of Memory and TV out, but I have this thing about onboard video, I've heard integrated video could be faster than standard pci external cards though.
Would you buy or recommend a motherboard with integrated video?

No, nor would I recommend a pci. Do you not have an AGP slot?

Sorry, I confused PCI for AGP
Would you buy a board with integrated AGP?
Is integrated video faster than external video?
Thanks for your answer.

If it were me I would not get a motherboard with integrated graphics. Heres a couple of reasons. If you would ever want to upgrade your graphics you are stuck with buying a pci card. Also if the video card goes bad you are stuck with buying an entire motherboard not just a video card. If it were me i would get a motherboard with an external video.

No, I personally wouldn't buy integraded mobos. I am prejudiced against integrated audio/video. I prefer modularity and repairability over video speed.
Of course, I am not a gamer.
